As seems to be the case with Buffy offspring Chase hit the show ring in first class style the first time out with a 3 point major, going WD, BW and then BOB over the Specials under renowned terrier judge Richard Chashoudian. The very next day he was WD and BOS for more points. The only dog or bitch to beat him out for BOB when no champions were entered was a bitch also bred by us, Ch. Childs Play Shot Thru T'Heart. Several judges told us that Chase just couldn't be denied because of his exquisite breed type, perfect balance front to rear and clean flawless movement. A wonderful testimony to a wonderful dog.

Chase isn't just another pretty face either. Within just a few days of his being shipped to his new home in Sweden, Berit had Chase already Tracking and working in the artificial den to Badger. Berit is the Top Parson Russell Terrier Breeder in Sweden and has been recognized by the Swedish Kennel Club as such for two years running. She considers Chase to be a natural at Tracking and believes that he is going to be a great working dog in the ground. Since Berit also hunts fox during the winter Chase will also be introduced and worked to that quarry. That he is following in his father Ben and mother Buffy's footsteps is no surprise to us. That combination of good old working blood just can't be beat!
